Baby Stuff: Picolo Moon Walk for Barbie at Nine Months

Barbie wears Moon Walk as she celebrates her 9th month birthday

Picolo Moon Walk is not like a normal walker that has wheels which can only be used indoors on the flat surface. Picolo Moon Walk is designed to help babies to walk in comfort and safely anywhere they want to go, especially outdoor.

It was New Year's Day when Barbie received Picolo Moon Walk as a gift from her Ninong. Barbie was 6 months old that time and I think this is the best time to teach her how to walk, but her pediatrician strongly discourages the use of baby walkers. According to her, she will probably lose some body weight. Many said walkers can discourage children from learning to walk on their own, can slow motor development and also it can be dangerous.

When Barbie started to cruise at nine months she makes her way around the room using whatever furniture is available until now she became 11 months. I am forced to use Moon Walk as harness with Barbie (just like what you see in the photo above) when moving from one piece of furniture to the next because there are times she gets out of balance that cause of head bumps.

For me this kind of walker is safe and comfortable because Barbie and I could walk naturally without bending back or pull up arms and I can easily hold the horizontal bar to guide her in a more natural position rather than holding her two hands.
