My baby's teething problems

Tempra, E-Zinc, Hydrite and Erceflora
May 31, 2015, Sunday, it was our Barangay Fiesta when Barbie had a fever. We gave her Paracetamol (Tempra) for temporary treatment and she had been okay, so we were able to attend the Sunday Mass. I thought she was really okay on the following day. Unfortunately, on the next day the fever symptoms come back after they had gone away.  She also had loose stools for more than two days before she had a fever. Actually, Barbie poops two to three times a day (it's normal), but this time her poop looks watery. At first, we thought that she is getting through teething problems but I don't think teething is to blame for these symptoms or it was really an LBM because we had never experienced something like this before when her first tooth emerged. Barbie had been experiencing only mild symptoms like fussiness, drooling and gnawing.

Wednesday morning (fourth day of her high fever), when we decided to bring her to the pediatrician. We were worried that she might have other reasons of having a high fever.

When we arrived to CGH Emergency Room, the nurse took some information such as Barbie's weight (7.2 kg), age (11 months) and her body temperature (normal, because I just gave her Paracetamol). After few interviews about her medical history, the Pediatrician recommended to test her blood. So we went to the Hospital Laboratory to get her blood tested to find out. When the results came in (45 minutes later), we went back to emergency room and gave the result to the Pediatrician. As she interpreted blood test results, she told us that most of babies are frequently put things in their mouths to soothe their gums, so they're coming into contact with more viruses and other germs that's why our baby experiencing fever and LBM. I guess its quite true.

The Pediatrician prescribed to take Paracetamol (Tempra) for fever, given only when her temperature is 38 C above; Erceflora  it was given once a day for three days; e-Zinc and Hydrite.
